SOHMO Bulb Pins (also known as pear pins or calabash pins) are smooth, sharp, coil-free pins designed specifically for use with yarn. The pear-shape is key: it glides through stitches without a coil to snag or split fibres, making these gentle enough for delicate laceweight yarn and robust enough for chunky wool. Unlike traditional coiled stitch markers or locking markers, bulb pins sit flat against your work and won't add bulk or distort your stitch count.
 
Use them as knitting stitch markers to track increases and decreases, flag the beginning of a round, separate pattern sections, or mark a row you need to return to. They're also handy for holding live stitches open or pinning knitted pieces together for seaming.
