The Pacific Knit Co. Base Doodle Patterns are a series of basic knitting patterns that can be personalised with colourwork motifs, such as those from Doodle Decks. Each pattern is presented as a tri-fold brochure with guidance on "how to doodle", as well as all the instructions needed to complete the base pattern. This pattern is worked in the round from the toe up. The toe is cast on and shaped, before working design-your-own colorwork on the foot. An afterthought heel is placed, before finishing the colorwork on the leg. Then the cuff is finished and bound off. Lastly, the afterthought heel is picked up and worked.
Try full colourwork socks, decorate the leg, or just add a splash of colourwork along the cuff. Play with different ribbing, heels, and toes.
